Winfried Waider MD

Dr Waider is one of the founding members of Memorial Cardiology Medical Group. He is an interventional cardiologist who performs coronary angiograms and stents. He has trained hundreds of cardiology fellows over his multi-decades in practice and helped create numerous programs at Long Beach Medical Center.

He is the former past chairman of the division of cardiology at Memorial Hospital and has lectured extensively on the subject of hypertension, coronary disease, and hyperlipidemia. He has been a critical researcher on landmark trials and continues to be an active educator for the cardiology trainees.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He is an avid traveler and photographer and has many of his portraits displayed in the office and hospital.
