About Erica Avalos
Erica Avalos is a skilled nurse practitioner with a strong foundation in cardiology. She brings six years of bedside nursing experience from Long Beach Memorial, where she specialized in telemetry and cardiovascular care.

Erica earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master’s in Nursing, and Nurse Practitioner Certificate from California State University, Long Beach. During her time at Long Beach Memorial, she was honored with the Daisy Award, a prestigious recognition given to nurses who demonstrate extraordinary clinical skill, compassion, and dedication to their patients. She was also the recipient of the Simply Better Award, further reflecting her commitment to excellence in patient care. In addition, Erica served as a mentor and preceptor to new nurses, helping to shape the future of nursing with her expertise and guidance.

With her strong clinical background and passion for preventive cardiology, Erica provides personalized, evidence-based care to her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, cycling, and weight lifting. Erica looks forward to partnering with her patients to promote heart health and wellness through a proactive, patient-centered approach.
